RunExport is a local HealthKit export utility. It reads running workouts from Apple Health only after you grant permission, then writes JSON export files to your own iCloud Drive container.

Data RunExport Reads

RunExport requests read-only access to running workouts and related HealthKit data, including workout timing, distance, heart rate, energy, steps, route points, and running form metrics when Apple Health has recorded them.

RunExport does not write data back to Apple Health.

Data Collection

RunExport does not collect data from the app.

  • No accounts
  • No servers
  • No analytics
  • No advertising SDKs
  • No third-party tracking SDKs

Export files are saved to your iCloud Drive container, iCloud.com.pacedrift.RunExport. That storage is controlled by your Apple ID and iCloud settings.

Sharing

RunExport uses the system share sheet when you choose to share an export. Sharing is user-initiated, and the destination is controlled by you.

Data Deletion

You can delete exported JSON files from iCloud Drive or the Files app. You can also remove individual workouts from future exports inside RunExport.

Deleting the app removes app-local state from the device. Files already saved to iCloud Drive remain under your control until you delete them.
